Founders

  • Founder - Education Lead

    Jane is the musician and educator of the team and has spent 33 years perfecting a music programme that is respected worldwide.

  • Founder. - Business Lead

    Michelle and Jane founded DaCapo 33 years ago. It has grown it from a small charity into one which both delivers and influences music teaching in many different settings, across the UK and overseas. DaCapo Primary Music has grown out of the charity.

  • Founder. - Design Lead

    Joining us 28 years ago, Ali has designed and built the DaCapo brand using her design expertise.

NEDs (Non-executive Directors)

  • NED. - Finance

    John has assisted over 30 start ups and sat on more than eighty boards from the ideas stage to AIM-listed. John leads the financial aspects of DCPM and plays the violin.

  • NED. - Marketing

    Richard has over 30 years’ experience in music education, having worked for Boosey & Hawkes/ IMP/HL,Yamaha, MakeMusic and Steinberg. He is the Executive Director of TiME (Technology in Music Education UK) and a trumpet player!

    Kostas is our double bass teacher at the DaCapo Saturday Centre and Wren Academy. He is now also helping us to progress in publishing our library.

    Isla and Harry are young graduates who look after our social media, website and many admin and support duties.
